This Privacy Policy describes how HorseNote (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use the HorseNote mobile application (the “App”).
When you register an account, we collect your email address and password. Your password is stored in a hashed format for security.
We collect and store all text content you create, edit, and save in the App, including note text and timestamps.
We may collect the Identifier for Vendors (IDFV), a unique identifier associated with your device. This data is used to associate your notes with your specific device for cloud synchronization and to ensure stable service operation. We also collect basic device information such as device model, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and performance optimization.
We use Google Analytics (a third-party analytics service) to collect anonymous usage data. This includes how you interact with features, session duration, and crash reports. This data is used solely to improve the App's performance and user experience. Google Analytics may collect device information, but it does not collect personal identifiers unless required by law. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for more information on their data handling practices.
We use your information only to provide and improve the service: - To create and manage your account - To store your notes in the cloud - To synchronize data across your devices - To ensure service stability and fix issues - To analyze app usage patterns and improve functionality
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or notes content with third parties for commercial marketing purposes. We may disclose your information if required by applicable law, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of HorseNote or our users.
You have the following rights regarding your personal data: - Access, edit, or delete your individual notes at any time directly within the App - Request access to a copy of all personal data we hold about you - Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
To permanently delete your HorseNote account and all associated data (including account information, notes content, and device-related data): 1. Open the HorseNote App and log in to your account 2. Navigate to System Settings 3. Select the Delete Account option 4. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the deletion
Once confirmed, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 7 business days, and cannot be recovered.
We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the App after the update constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
